Where the affiliate model creates tension
Be aware: this site earns commission when readers register through the operator links. That creates an obvious incentive to rank operators by commission rate, not quality. We don't, but we're aware that's a claim every affiliate site makes — so here's how we try to keep ourselves honest.
We score each operator before agreeing commercial terms. We re-score every quarter regardless of commercial relationship. Where commercial terms change but scores don't, the ranking doesn't move. Where two operators score within 0.1, we pick the one we'd recommend to a family member, not the one paying more.
Reader feedback
Player experiences are the strongest signal we don't get from internal testing.
